Hi everyone, here’s Real Food Challenge, Week 12.

Saturday

Breakfast

One egg hard poached over Bread Alone whole wheat toast with sunflower and flax seeds, 1/2 banana, and a handful of Whole Foods 365 Cherry Carnival trail mix

Coffee with half-and-half and a bit of sugar

Lunch 

Choco-berry shake topped with chocolate-covered sunflower seeds: 1/2 cup organic 2% greek yogurt, a big handful of organic frozen mixed berries, 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder, and a bit of agave

Spoonful of Justin’s Maple Almond Butter

Snack

Brown rice crackers and tomato slices with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Dinner

Cod sautéed in a lemon caper butter sauce, spinach salad with apples and garlic herb goat cheese with a homemade dressing of walnut oil, white balsamic vinegar, honey, and salt, and a slice of homemade rosemary focaccia

Glass of Sauvignon Blanc

Sunday

Breakfast

All natural granola with Whole Foods 365 Cherry Carnival trail mix and one banana sliced

Iced coffee with milk and a bit of sugar

Lunch

Pomegranate Berry Blast smoothie from Juice Generation

Snack

Brown rice crackers with salsa and organic string cheese

Dinner

Hard-boiled egg and a salad bowl of leftovers: spinach, sliced apples, kalamata olives, focaccia, and flaked cod with homemade walnut oil vinaigrette

Homemade baked oatmeal square (oats, walnuts, sunflower seeds, dried cherries, unsweetened coconut, milk, vanilla, honey, cinnamon)

Cup of peppermint tea
